Here are 12 FREE guided meditations perfect for beginners and all under 10 minutes with different focuses such as letting go of the past, connecting with your intuition, manifesting your goals, processing your emotions, changing your habits, and so much more!

I know just how difficult it can feel to sit still and quiet your mind as someone who has anxiety. The first time I tried meditating I felt more jittery and agitated than I did peaceful. That experience kept me from trying again for a long time until I found guided visualizations that taught me what to think about, imagine, and do during a meditation. Now? This is one of my go-to daily rituals for centering myself and getting my energy into alignment with my goals.

My intention with this blog is to help you fall in love with this practice as well and make it easy for you to get into the habit of meditating. But before we dive in I have a few tips so you get the most out of these videos!

  1. Before you start, go to the bathroom, take a sip of water, and do a little dance party or shake to get the pent up energy out of system. I find it is really hard to relax the mind when the body is sending you signals to take care of it.

  2. Find a quiet, cozy spot without distractions. It may be helpful to wear headphones to block out any noise or an eye mask.

  3. Get into a comfortable position either sitting up or lying down. If you get uncomfortable mid-meditation it's okay to change positions, move that random hair, or scratch that itch. It's better to remove the distraction so you can get back to your meditation vs suffer through it and only half listening.

  4. Lastly, meditation isn't about have no thoughts. But witnessing what comes up and letting go like a cloud just passing on through. When you notice your mind wandering just take a deep breath and come back to the meditation. No need to start over or judge yourself. This isn't about being perfect, after all it is called a practice!

Now that your body and environment is ready, take a deep breath and scroll through the meditation below until one piques your interest. I will guide you through the rest!
